Cape to Cape 8 Day Hiking Itinerary

Day 1
- 14km
The first day of our adventure begins in Perth. We will board the bus and travel down to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, stopping in Bunbury for Lunch. We will begin our hike at noon, and hike all the way to Yallingup Holiday Park.
We will have an amazing view of the coast the entire afternoon and we will also have the opportunity to stop for a swim halfway in.
At the Holiday Park, you will have the option of staying in a cabin.
Day 2
- 22.5km
We will begin hiking after a light breakfast. After a brief beach walk, we will come to our first stop for the day, The Injidup Natural Spa. We will enjoy a lunch with the opportunity for a refreshing swim at the Spa. We will continue on until we hit Mosses Rock Campsite, where we will camp for the night
Day 3
- 21km
We will start the day with a few hill sections and some 4x4 track hiking. Our lunch stop will be in Gracetown where we will enjoy a meal at the local cafe and have the opportunity to go for a swim. In he second half of the day, we will pass through Ellensbrook homestead before arriving at Ellensbrook Camp for the night.
Day 4
- 8km
Today is our rest day! We will begin bright and early and make our way to Prevelly for an early lunch at the cafe. We will then set up camp at the local Holiday Park where we will have the opportunity for a warm shower. We will spend the afternoon at Mammoth Cave and then head to a local winery for dinner. We will relax and recharge at the camp for the evening while enjoying some local treats and some fun games.
On this evening you will have the option of staying in a cabin.
Day 5
- 22km
Today we will begin hiking away from the coast. We will stop for a quick snack in the morning to fuel us until our lunch destination of Redgate Beach. We will stop for a meal and the opportunity to swim before continuing on to Conto’s Camp Ground.
Day 6
- 25km
Today we will spend most of our day away from the coast hiking through the Boranup Forest. We will stop along the 4x4 trails for a quick lunch before making our way down to Hamelin Bay. We will finish the day with a 7km beach hike all the way to Hamelin Bay Caravan Park, where we will be able to enjoy a warm shower and a refreshing nights sleep.
This night you will also have the option to stay in a cabin instead of a tent.
Day 7
- 25km
Today is our final day! We will begin by hiking through the forest for a few kilometres before making our way back down to the coast. We will then hike along the rocks and beach and enjoy the amazing views of the blowholes and massive waves beside us. As we begin our final beach hike, the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is visible in the distance.
When we arrive at the lighthouse, we will enjoy a meal at the cafe and have the opportunity to climb the light house. From here we will go to the Augusta Hotel for the night.
Day 8
- 0km
Today we will begin our trip back to Perth, but not before stopping at a few important places in the area. We will visit the Margaret River Chocolate Factory, as well as a Brewery and Winery.
We will be back in Perth at 5pm.
